As a food reviewer, I was particularly charmed by the extensive menu offerings. For starters, the Corned Beef Bites paired with steak fries are a must-try, while the Caledonia Scotch Eggs and Irish Nachos show a delightful twist on traditional flavors. Each dish bursts with flavor and authenticity that reflects the heart of Irish cuisine.
- Appetizers: The Scotch Eggs have received rave reviews for their crispiness, though some patrons noted they could use a bit more dipping sauce.
- Main Dishes: Signature entrees like the Fish and Chips boast perfectly fried cod with a light batter that is simply irresistible.
- Specialty Sandwiches: The Big Fella – a hearty burger crowned with Irish bacon and cheddar – is a standout for those seeking a fulfilling meal.

Update review: I've visited McNamara's 6 times now and every single time the food and service have been outstanding. Fridays and Saturdays get super busy so I recommend going before 6 pm but it's worth the wait regardless.

Service was quick and waitress was delightful. Super helpful and didn't have to wait long for them to come by the table for anything. The scotch eggs are a must but they have definitely gotten smaller since the last time. Wish they were served with more dipping sauce. Got the fish and chips which are amazing but my preference is more of a flat fish instead of a ball shape, but the breading was night and light. Stew had the best flavor. If only they served the stew with the puff pastry they have for the steak and Guinness pie that can be a little on the rich side depending on taste. Very busy atmosphere with people coming and going and can get loud pretty quickly. There's an upstairs bar area that haven't had the chance to explore but I know they are well known for live music, haven't ever had the pleasure of being able to see a show though and that's my fault. Will be back for sure!

Cute Irish pub that's beloved by locals. Portions are huge. For appetizers we tried the scotch eggs, kettle chips and the spinach dip - everything there was tasty. For entrees we had the Dublin curry (I opted for the mashed potatoes with vegetables) and fish & chips. Here again the portions were generous and had good balance - flavorful but not too heavy or salty. The cod was fried perfectly and the batter was delicious. Only complaint is we couldn't finish everything and had to pack most of our food up lol. Service was lovely and quick. Live music starts at 6 pm, I heard it's the owner's band that performs? Either it's a cool vibe highly recommend if you're in the area!

My wife and I were in town for a few days for a conference and our Airbnb host recommended this place. We grew up in a very Irish family. We loved the live Irish music. The food? Pretty good. We both enjoyed their first and chips, and they didn't even seem phased when we asked for gravy to go with it. We would go back if we were in the area.

We were craving fish and chips and found this place through a Yelp search. We stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening and opted to sit in the section with live music. The musicians were fantastic and really set the vibe, making us feel like we were back in a pub in Ireland. Our waitress, Jessica, was attentive and quick, ensuring we had everything we needed. The fish and chips were spot-on with perfectly crispy batter and delicious tartar sauce. We also shared a Caesar salad, which hit the spot. Overall, it was a great Thursday night with good food and fantastic entertainment. Thank you to all staff working!

I have eaten at this Traditional Irish Pub and restaurant many of times. It's consistently good and good service. They have several appetizers, salads, sandwiches along with some Traditional Irish dishes. They also offer a different soup of the day every day. The interior is warm, rustic and just kinda chilling out. They have Live music every night starting around 6:00 pm. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. They have a full bar with some beers on tap along with wine and a long list of Irish whiskey and bourbon. They have 5 covered outdoor tables. They have a private free parking lot. It's located close to the Nashville airport and it's about a 15 minute drive East of Downtown Nashville. It's a cool place to have some Irish food and have a good time.

To be fair, I only had white wine and french fries, so take this review with a grain of salt... or the perfect amount of salt, just like McNamara's fries. ;) Seriously, though! Amazing french fries, amazing bartenders, GREAT Irish live music, and chances are you'll meet some pleasant people who are also just trying to have a good time! I go here when my husband has work seminars down the road on Thursdays while live music is going on and it's always amazing!!! Definitely worth checking out.

Our gang of six enjoyed dinner with music at McNamara's Irish Pub, a family restaurant. Easily accommodated our group. Warm and friendly server. BNA airport and Opryland are conveniently close. Especially enjoyed entrees of grilled salmon with two sides of mashed potatoes and Irish cabbage, and Shepherds Pie. Good but mixed likes for entrees of Fish & Chips and Corned Beef sliders on mini-Kaiser rolls. Washed down with round of Tullamore D.E.W. whiskey. Good selection of brewskies, and great selection of Irish Whiskies (the list is unavailable online). Some whiskies were priced out of my range and would have to sell the children. Décor is dark, and family friendly. Parking can be tight, but we found spaces. Lunch and dinner daily. There is also a lunch menu until 3 pm. Closed Sunday-Monday Nosey Flynn is the Irish music group. Audience is made part of the fun. Small Gripe: Suggested gratuity is calculated WITH the sales tax. Will return.

I typically leave longer reviews, but this one will be brief. A friend and I had lunch there today. Beautiful facility, inside and out. We both ordered the fish and chips. Hands-down the best fish and chips we've ever had. Excellent coleslaw and fries. Server Jim was outstanding. And to top it off, Guinness on Draft. My first time there, but I'll be back often.
